Construction Project Safety Management Maturity Model And Evaluation Study

Since the 1990 s, the development of Chinese construction industry has a rapid speed, due to the operation risk of construction project itself, the characteristics of labor intensive, straightforward of construction project management, construction safety accident occurred frequently, played a certain inhibition to the sustainable development of construction industry. Although construction project managers aware of the grim situation of construction safety management, do not know their own project safety management status. How to evaluate a construction project safety management level effectively, understanding the defects of project safety management and the direction of improvement, has very high theoretical significance and practical value.Maturity model is an effective method of evaluation project management ability, but there is few applications in building construction project safety management, in order to evaluate the safety of the construction project management capacity, maturity model is introduced into the construction projects safety management evaluation. First, review relevant theoretical knowledge of construction project safety management and project management maturity model to lay a solid theoretical foundation for the research of paper; by reference to the PMS- PM3 model, the structure of the construction projects safety management maturity model is determined; by analyzing the factors affecting the safety of construction projects, the construction projects safety management maturity model of the evaluation index system is determined; then by comparing selected analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of evaluation index system, based on the gray system theory to the project safety management maturity to carry on the comprehensive evaluation and gives the concrete steps of evaluation; finally, through actual case analysis, understand the condition of a case project construction safety management, has been clear about the case project needs to improve, to verify the validity and rationality of the model is applied to the practice.The study of the paper, not only enriches the theoretical exploration of construction projects safety management evaluation and the maturity model, but also can guide project managers to improve the ability of project safety management, to reduce construction safety accidents and promote the sustained and healthy development of construction industry.
