Research On The Evaluation Of Project Management Maturity In The Municipal Engineering Project

Project management maturity evaluation has become an important research topic inproject management, with the continuous improvement of people’s living conditions, theprogress of municipal engineering must keep up with The Times and satisfy people’s needs, itrequires the construction enterprise to enhance the capacity of municipal engineering projectmanagement. At present, there are some problems in the field of municipal engineering toconstruction units, such as: it is not strong to ensure the engineering quality consciousness,municipal project management is not standard, the shortage of resources, supervisionmechanism is not perfect, and so on. Therefore, it is important to enhance the competitivenessof the municipal engineering construction enterprises in improve the ability of municipalengineering construction enterprise.This paper made a research on the municipal engineering project management maturityevaluation model. According to current project management theories and the results offoreign researches on project management maturity model, the index system of evaluating theproject management maturity of municipal engineering is founded, considering thecharacteristics of the municipal engineering project management, and gray comprehensiveevaluation method is introduced, by combining analytic hierarchy process and Graycomprehensive evaluation.Firstly, with theoretical study, a literature review is given to the research of PM3,combining with the characteristics of the municipal engineering and project managementmaturity model, reveals the current project management maturity model is not suitable forevaluation of municipal engineering project management maturity of our country.Secondly, through normative analysis and empirical research, this paper analyzes thefactors affecting municipal engineering project management maturity, they are separated in tobasic elements and classified in the form of hierarchical structure, an index system ofevaluating the project management maturity is found.Thirdly, after the completion of the evaluation index system, using AHP each levelindicators and two indicators, a solid foundation for the grey comprehensive evaluation of thefollow-up process.Lastly, considering the complexity, unpredictability and uncertainty characteristic inevaluating the project management maturity of municipal engineering, in the existing projectmanagement maturity model based on the analysis of the contrast, gray comprehensiveevaluation method is introduced to evaluate it, being scientific evaluation methods. Then acase is given to test the feasibility of the model produced, find the important factors that affectthe maturity, find countermeasures.
