In recent years,the manufacturing industry of China is in a special period of accelerated development, under the influence of the industry, the secondary vocational schools, as the representative of The modern occupation education institutions,focus on the development of professional teaching, most schools have stepped up to the demand by offering the new program, renovating teaching facilities and constructing the new teaching buildings.For a time, the major of manufacturing industry has become the most popular major of secondary vocational education. Compared with other majors, the major of manufacturing industry attach more importance to cultivating students’ occupation skills, the teaching objectives emphasize hands-on ability of skilled and good professional accomplishment, after graduation,the students can directly be on work,so the building of manufacturing industry major,as the main place of occupation skill teaching,has become a key link in the teaching and the development of secondary vocational schools, meanwhile the manufacturing industry training building with the architectural features of the composite, appeared in the secondary vocational school campus. However, due to the complex of manufacturing specialty structure,the diversity of practical teaching content, coupled with the lack of construction standards and design specifications, these factors caused a series of problems in the design and use of manufacturing industry training building, These problems stem from the unreasonable structure of the training building and the space combination mode.From the view of these problems, the author introduces the adaptive design method, according to principles of the system,the development and the people-oriented,the paper sort out the influence factors of the adaptive design, starting from the analysis of the causes of problems, including various types of space, space environment requirements of the complex and the requirements of the new teaching model, such as the three aspects, finally the paper puts forward to the design strategies for the interior space of manufacturing industry training building, Including the combination of spatial diversity of the design, the functional layout design, as well as the new form of physical and spatial integration, and it involved in the actual project application of this strategy.This paper is mainly divided into the following six parts. The first part is the introduction,this part introduces the research background, research purpose and significance, research methods and framework, and focuses on the definition and description of the research object.The educational background of the manufacturing industry training building is summarized in the second part,we also summed up the four characteristics of vocational education in our country, and the vocational school training buildings were classified.The function space for the building and the major courses which is related to are classified in the third part, on the basis of the research,this paper summarized the current situation and problems of manufacture industry training building. introducing the adaptive design method is in the forth part,it analyzes the root of the conflict is mainly concentrated in the diversity of the inner space, complexity of space environment of the different functional requirements and new teaching mode of the new requirements, so as to the impact factors of the adaptive design. The fifth part is the core of the thesis, following the principles of adaptive design,the author form the design strategy from the reasonable layout of the functional design, the space diversity of combinatorial design and theory of teaching space and training space integration design perspective. In the sixth part,the author described this design strategy by a project which it participated in.
