| Nowadays,with the development of LED lighting,and the promoting of Chinese urbanization process. The interior lamp will have a huge application market, wherein the Edge Panel light are popular among people because of its Ultra-thin appearance, large light-emitting surface and uniform soft light. However, there are many problems such as high cost, bulky structure, surface uniformity is not high hindered its development. this paper will work on these problems, The following work is mainly finished:First of all, this paper introduce principles of Optics in Edge panel light. LED light source incident in LGP(Light Guide Plate) from the side of Edge Panel light, the dots from the underside of LGP damage its total reflection so that the light can be emitted from the front, the dots distribution on the bottom of the LGP plays an important role to the surface brightness. Then, two calculating methods of the net dot distribution are deduced according to the different location of the LED, one of them is when the LED locate on one side or on the bilateral symmetry, another is when the LED locate on adjacent sides or the all four sides. Also in this paper, Trace Pro, an optical simulation software, which can be used to design the net dots is introduced.Secondly, a LED panel light structure is designed based on SMDLED, and a net dot distribution for an Edge Panel light of 300*300mm is also designed based on SMDLED. Then Trace Pro software are used to simulate and analysis the distribution of the net dot, and the uniformity of the surface has reached 81%. Then two structures of Edge Panel light and the main components of it such as diffusion plate, LGP and the reflection paper are introduced, and two lamp samples of metal structures based on previously are designed, pointed the problems existing in metal frame panel light.Thirdly, according to the problems exist in metal frame panel light. A new structure of panel light is designed, which used Plate LED COB light source as its light source. Its packaging process and its advantages with respect to traditional light sources will be introduced too. Then a dot distribution for an Edge Panel light of 300*300mm is designed and an optimization is done also based on Plate LED COB light source, the results of surface illumination uniformity has reached 89.5%, and a sample lamp are showed in the end.Finally, a test will be made to the two LGP we designed, and the LGP based on Plate LED COB light-source has higher surface illumination uniformity has been proved. Then spectrum analyzer and goniophotometer are used to test the two sample lamps. According to the test results, an experiment is designed to find the reason why the LGP have a higher uniformity based on Plate LED COB light source. Then a prospect will be given to the plastic frame Edge Panel light. |
