In the field of aerospace propulsion, multi-electric and electric motors have become an important direction of its development, and the electric power of the aviation engine fuel supply and control system is imperative. The require of intergration and dynamic response speed of the modern aero engine control element becomes more and more higher. In this thesis, the design and optimization of a external gear pump with fixed index for the realization of small volume and light weight is completed.Some exploration on the structure of the new four planetary gear pump is finished. At the same time,based on the experiment, the design of the fuel flow measurement system is completed, in a word, a series of research work has been carried out..First, design a external gear pump in order to meet the requirements of high power and large flow in aviation, and optimize it by genetic algorithm, the results show that the genetic algorithm can effectively reduce the volume of gear pump, achieve a better goal compared to the preliminary design.Then the four planetary gear pump is put forward. The influence of the number of center gear on the flow quality is analyzed. And compare the design of the four planetary pump with the conventional external gear pump, the results show that if designed in a correct way, the four planetary gear pump can reduce the flow pulsation, volume and the cost of the gear pump, it can also improve the working performance.Finally, combined a certain type of aircraft external gear pump for the working machine with a fault tolerant permanent magnet motor of high reliability to compose the electric fuel pump. Then according to the principle of hole plate pressure design and processing and installation of the hole plate, the purchase of the pressure sensor, the existing turbine flow meter as the standard, to fit the experimental data, complete the static calibration of orifice flow measurement device. Then the flow measuring device of the electric fuel pump is composed of the existing oil supply oil source, the booster pump, the oil pipeline and the corresponding flow and pressure sensors. Then the test results show that the system has a good dynamic response accuracy.
