In the growing material and cultural demand leads to the deterioration of the environment today, people in the combination between natural resources and life have higher requirements. Big to industry transformation, is small to the door, the concept of energy conservation and emissions reduction has become an indispensable part of life. People pursuit of quality of life needs, making slow gradually become more attached to ecology, health and entertainment way to travel. The combination of waterfront space and slow leisure system conforms to the modern people to the demand of high quality life, combined with the slow leisure system design research of waterfront space has very important practical significanceNowadays leisure slow system involving urban waterfront space design, landscape design, traffic system, and other categories of knowledge, makes this study has certain challenging.After the problem solving, This article in detail after the problem solving, first of all related disciplines theory research, collect slow system related cases at home and abroad, absorbing excellent design idea and results; Then through Guanlan river ecological culture corridor planning design international consultancy project(hereinafter referred to as "mission hills river project) instance of waterfront space leisure slow systems were studied. Research process includes analysis of mission hills river project, understand the general situation of project, design goal and vision, resource conditions, so as to derive the project positioning and slow system design goal; On the basis of the key research project of the waterfront leisure slow system design, starting from the design factors, through policy, planning, natural resources, history, culture and other important factors analysis, understand the project, in-depth excavation of the project characteristics, the formation of three overall strategy of the slow system design, which are integrated into the urban green system, activate public space along the river, forming "dot", "line", "face" leisure slow system pattern. Three strategies from macro to micro level a progressive, detailed elaborated the design thinking process: that is, into the urban green system is the design of system function of slow and needs, and public space along the river is slow system design, the basis of "dot", "line", the system pattern of "surface" is a basic structure, slow system is a top priority in the design research. This project at the time of the design as far as possible, achieve the goal of comprehensive, complete, but, after all, some deficiencies, hope in the future work and study can be improved.
