Research On The Design Of Leisure Space In Commercial Pedestrian Street

Commercial pedestrian street is an important supporter for people’s shopping and consumption.With the development of China’s economy,and the change of business model and consumption concept,leisure and communication have become the main activities of people in commercial pedestrian streets,and the demand for leisure space is increasing.However there are many problems in the leisure space of commercial pedestrian streets from the current situation,especially location distribution,spatial form,and place spirit,it’s necessary to study and evaluate carefully.Therefore,research on the design of commercial pedestrian street space is great significance.Firstly,we analyzes the current situation of the commercial pedestrian street space,finds and summarizes the problems and provides corresponding basis for the design.Secondly,we research the core elements of the commercial pedestrian street specified in the following aspects bottom,interface and time and space of the rest space.we selected the excellent overseas pedestrian street cases,analyzed the merits of the rest space and conducted on-the-spot investigations on representative commercial pedestrian streets in China,from traffic flow lines,spatial forms,and spatial elements.Research in other areas,find out the problems and propose solutions.Finally,through on-the-spot investigation and questionnaire analysis with Wuxi Nanchang Street as the design plan,using the core elements and design methods summarized above,select the corresponding nodes for design,and provide new ideas for the current commercial pedestrian street design.
