The Leisure Effects Of Squares Researching In City Open Space

In this article, the author discusses the development process of the city squares in west countries and China. I probe into the subject comprehensively and systemicly ,and research the beginning of the square, the development and the diversification of the square in different countries. Analyzing and Comparing the differences in the development of West countries and China, I get the conclusion on the leisure development of the squares in the future.The article focuses on the subject that the square's leisure effect in open space in the city is very important ,adopting the method, such as conclusion , summarization, analysis , and deduction .Taking the attitude as putting forward the questions, and analyzing them, at last solving them, and integrating sociology , demeanour , psychology culture and so on, I take the speciality theoretics and the methods of design, and finally, I have made some determinate generalization on the leisure effects of the cities' squares.In addition, taking the North Square of the Wild Goose Pagoda and the east and west garden square, dujiangyan square which is famous on the water culture , Pershing Square in Los Angeles in America for example, I seeing about the leisure effects of the cities' squares concretely ,and I get the conclusion , that is , the more functions square which is considered to be provided with the intercommunion by common or multiformity public in cities will show more leisure effects of the cities' squares in modern time.
