Research On GPS Navigation System Of Flight Simulator

The flight simulator is a complicated application with modern simulation technology. It also is an important laboratorial equipment in aviation. The navigation system is a subsystem of flight simulator. It’s function is to supply pilot with information such as position, speed and attitude. The GPS is taking place of the wireless navigation system because of it’s development in aviation. The flight simulator is a simulation to the airplane. So research on GPS on flight simulator is important. Here simulation of GPS navigation system on flight simulator is studied. Then a GPS-Simulator is built up with VC++. The main content of this paper is as below:(1)Movement of satellites, the almanac and how to get the coordinates of GPS satellites with almanac are studied.(2)Theory of GPS navigation, pseudorange and GDOP are studied here.(3)Find out the same and difference between GPS and GPS on flight simulator. Built the model of GPS, and then validate it.(4)Study on the structure and function of navigation system of flight simulator. Realize the system with VC++.
