Flight simulator has been applied in aviation industry and recentlybecome more essential to National Defense Industry. However, domesticstudy of flight simulator is deficient in advanced theory and technologyon motion simulation. This paper presents motion features of parallel 6-DOF motion system(Stewart Platform) as vital subsystem of flight simulator of whichmathematical model of has been established. Including position,kinematics and dynamics analysis acquired, these analysis andcalculation are described and programmed in MATLAB in detail and thenverified by ADAMS. Especially, complexity of forward position analysishas been discussed further and settled by an effective solution based onsuccessive approximation and optimization theory. It is concluded that rules of the drivers' available motion parameterswith changing of motion platform's poses are calculated by the model andsensation simulation algorithm .The result of the parallel motion is on thebase of primary design on flight simulator.
