Safety production situation of construction industry in our country had been very serious and the present situation of safety management had been not optimistic. The main factor of the safety accident was human factor, so relying solely on the progress of technology and equipment could not completely avoid the occurrence of accidents. Accident causing theory thought that the accident was the result of many factors, while the former results were more emphasis on the study of single or several human factors on the safety accident, studying on the interaction of architectural safety accident factors in the lack of systematic research. In order to study human factors of construction safety accidents and interaction mechanism between factors systematically, the Hypothesis that the social environment was added into the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System(HFACS) framework on the basis of literature reviewing and expert interviewing, combining with characteristics of the construction industry. Then the human factors analysis and classification system of construction safety accidents(C-HFACS) framework was built after revising the elements in the HFACS framework, At the same time, the C-HFACS framework's industry adaptability and the rationality for revising it was verified. Secondly, taking 150 construction safety accident case as the research object, the C-HFACS framework was used to carry on statistical analysis for it and causality test for factors on each level of the C-HFACS frame, then nine important constituent elements were obtained that had a great influence on the construction safety accidents and the causal relationship among which was very strong. Thirdly, in order to analyze further relational degree among the high-frequency human factors, four hypothesis models were established which were the relational model between social environment layer and enterprise's safety management layer, the relational model between enterprise's safety management layer and field supervision layer, the relational model between field supervision layer and precondition layer of unsafe behavior, the relational model between precondition layer of unsafe behavior and unsafe behavior layer. 500 copies of questionnaires were given out in 15 construction sites of 5 construction Enterprises in 12 cities such as Chongqing, Wuhan and so on, among which 407 copies of questionnaires were recovered effectively. The structural equation modeling was used to verify the hypothesis model and the results showed that the enterprise security management layer had the most significant effect on the field supervision layer among all relational models in the C-HFACS framework, In addition nine human factors had a great effect on construction safety accident and the human factors of lower level, which including government supervision, enterprise safety culture and resource management, the design and management of the site supervisor, physical and technical environment, individual physiological state, skills and so on. Finally, combining with the analysis results several targeted suggestions and measures were put forward from four dimensions such as the government, enterprises, scene and individual, which contained Third party security inspection agency, developing enterprise's culture, strengthening the site design management behavior and so on. The research results above would provide new methods and tools for construction safety accident analysis and management.
