In today's society, the lack of natural resources so intense today, Japanese native independent brand "MUJI" in terms of design style and product technology has always adhere to the design principle of green low-carbon, sustainable development, people-oriented. The green packaging design, simplicity, not for luxury; the design idea of returning to nature, respect life, to convey through its unique design gives people a newphilosophy of life, green way of life is simple. And the package design more and more complicated modern pursuit of fashion, the pursuit of individuality, and ignored the mostbasic needs of human life, and even some excessive packaging but also to environmental pollution. Compared with the packaging design some fussy blindly cater to the market and the present, MUJI is a typical low carbon green, return to the essence of life. All technical route of MUJI, design style, the details of the products are around people, not for luxury, comfort design, it has also become a model of design to create a way of life.In this paper, from the deep analysis of the case of MUJI, explore the concept of packaging design, green packaging materials from the reasonable selection and application, packaging structure and form of the visual elements of the angle, a full range of analysis of modern life in the MUJI packaging design to reflect, to summarize the packaging design style the uniqueness and innovation and advantage, now with the progress of society of our country economy is in rapid development, so the packaging industry in China is gradually go out of the country to the world, no successful MUJI packaging design, it gives us a valuable reference and learning.
