The Trunk Highway And The City Nodes Planning Study

With the constant improvement of urban development and trunk highway network, the interaction between them has become increasingly evident. Trunk highway network supports urban development, the direction, density and location of trunk highway determines the future layout of the city in future, and it has a greater impact on the city's economy, environment and population,and so on.The city has developed rapidly, and the traffic is under pressure; so that the trunk highway and urban nodes are conditioned by each other. There are several kinds of planning methods in Trunk highway network plan. Combined with the specific characteristics of Nanjing,the rapid development of economy and the increasing improvement of the trunk highway network, this paper chooses to node method is based on its in-depth research, aims to enhance the trunk highway network optimization adjustment and city junction function.With the rapid economic and social development,accelerating the process of urbanization, increasing the integration of urban and rural areas, especially in urban nodes surrounding areas, urban and rural areas has become increasingly blurred boundaries, urban roads and highways undertaken overlapping functions is becoming increasingly significant.It is not suitable for the present stage and the future development of the city to adopt the traditional classification of the two subsystems of the highway and urban road. This paper will be divided into internal node traffic system,external traffic system and transit traffic system.Through the analysis, we can get the model which is suitable for the above two.This paper reviews several major methods of the trunk highway network planning, then according to the features in social environment,the comprehensive transportation development environment, urban planning and land control in Nanjing interactions and relationship with the city trunk highway network node. Using the node method, the relationship between the trunk highway network and urban node in Nanjing is deeply studied. From the nature and function of the highway, the present situation of the main city of Nanjing, the trunk highway in main city are optimized the layout, and the node planning and the entrance of the selection program is carried out. In addition, this paper also analysis the trunk highway and urban traffic and the hub linking scheme. In the end, the effect evaluation of the planning scheme of the main roads and urban nodes in Nanjing city is carried out.
