The bolt globe grid structure has not only the strongpoint of the grid structures, but also advantage of itself has been accepted by more and more engineers. It already runs to the great span of grid structures, and its shape is more rich and colorful, unconventional or unorthodox, which adequately incarnate the bolt globe node that has life-force.In the grid structure, there are many node, and the quantity that the node use steel account for the quantity that the all grid structures use steel 1/5~1/4.In reason design the node has immediately influence the safety of the structure, facture and installation, schedule of project, the index of the quantity that the node use steel, and the cost of project. The change of the node's shape and size influence the grid structures greatly, the domestic and overseas scholar research the interrelated technology and measure increasingly consummate, but still has been a lot of problem, the node of grid structures is too small in installing, which induce the pole clash with each other and the job of install is suffocated. Contrarily, in the large-scale grid structure and especial sculpt grid structure shop drawing, which appears the nodes'diameter is more than 300mm invariably. Namely, the ball steel is too large, it is influenced by market, machining, locale install and so on. Finally, the job of install is suffocated. Combining mechanical theories with the Finite element software ANSYS, our workgroup optimize the node of bolt globe grid structures. Optimizing the node by eccentricity, which solves that the pole clash with each other, and saves the quantity that the node use steel, and solves the job of install is suffocated and so on.Firstly, this project establishing the model of the node eccentricity of the grid structure, for reviewing all poles of the grid structure due to the node's eccentricity, which is influence the stress of the poles and the displacement of the grid structure. Analyzing the node eccentricity is influence the grid structure which satisfy requirement in the engineering. Then, the shape of node is optimized as dumbbell, using the software ANSYS, which analyses the node that has been optimized stress and meet an emergency is satisfied in the engineering, and accounting the save of the quantity that the node use steel by the node is optimized, which bring economy effect.
