| Emulsified epoxy asphalt is popular in pavement preventive maintenance.There are many researches on the epoxy emulsion but lessliterature of emulsified epoxy asphalt in domestic and abroad. So a kind of waterborne curing agent was synthesizedindependently in the paper, and a kind of emulsified epoxyresinwas preparedbased on the curing agent.First, the TE was modified by the method of additionstep by step, and the epoxy resin E51 chain segment was introduced to make the TE maintain a reasonablehydrophilic lipophilic balance. The influences of different factors on the preparation process were studied, and a set of synthetic process was determined.Then, the emulsified epoxy resin was prepared by phase inversion method, and the influence factors of the preparation process and the properties of the cured epoxy resin were studied.Thirdly, the emulsified asphalt was modified using self prepared emulsified epoxy, and the influence factors of viscosity, stability and curing propertieswere studies. The optimal component ratio and shelter time were determined.Finally, the modified Marshall method was used to design the AC-13 emulsified epoxy asphalt mixture, and the reasonable gradation and optimum emulsion dosage were determined.The optimum curing conditions were determined by studying the strength characteristics of emulsified epoxy asphalt mixture.The emulsified epoxy asphalt mixture is a kind of road material which has good performances by a comparative study of 70#matrix asphalt AC-13 mixture and epoxy asphalt mixture. |
