As the basic solution to the issues of "Agriculture,Countryside,Farmer",the development of unity of urban and rural area has achieved remarkable results in recent years.Currently, the unity of urban and rural area has entered a rapid development stage, but the layout planning of village and towns is not scientific enough and the construction of infrastructures and public facilities still requires improvement since we have focused on the urban construction for a very long time. How to strengthen and improve the infrastructures and public facilities of towns and villages, and narrow the gap between cities and villages by making a rational layout planning has required us to put forward a new strategy for the further promotion of unity of urban and rural area and propose new measures to balance urban and rural area.Suzhou, the pilot zone of the comprehensive matched reform of unity of urban and rural area, plays a demonstration role in the development of unity of urban and rural area. Meanwhile, Suzhou Hi-Tech Zone, as the leading role of the reform, provides effective demonstration and reference for other regions by making an analysis of the layout planning revolutions, discussing the optimization orientation of towns and villages' space layout, putting forward practicable optimization strategies.The thesis has three parts:Firstly, make a comprehensive analysis of the unity of urban and rural area and put forward relevant layout planning revolutions on the basis of domestic and foreign theoretical study. The job objectives require social equity, sustainable development, interactions between city and villages and local features.Secondly, make an analysis of current situation and features of Suzhou Hi-Tech Zone and the existing problems of layout planning through detailed research.Thirdly, on the basis of the goal orientation of unity of urban and rural area development and aim at existing problems of current layout planning, put forward optimization proposals on the four aspects of principles, general thoughts, optimization strategies and polic suggestions.
