With the gradually penetrated concept of Industry 4.0, small and medium enterprises have gradually realized automated production impacts on production are growing. Therefore, in order to reduce the tubes (toothpaste) packing labor intensity and high labor costs, packing automation equipment is designed in this paper. The main objectives are to improve production efficiency and reduce labor costs.In this paper, the structure of the overall design, for the tube automated packing machine, is mainly built model based NX. Based on modular design concept, it is modular decomposition, during designing the tube packing machine. It consists of the lifting mechanism, the guide mechanism, and push tube mechanism. What's more, it is analyzed, safe, reasonable and accurate driving, for the selection of the transmission mode, drive mode. At the same time, product development cycles are shortening by the selection the relevant standard.The reliability of tube automated packing machine is researched, for numerical analysis, by the finite element method (FEM). Based on ANSYS, vibration analysis and intensity analysis are done, natural frequencies is solved. At the same time, their verification are accurate and reliable, comparing virtual experiments with the actual selection. Then ball screw was made sure to use. Motion analysis is performed by NX, exported analysis data on displacement movement, velocity and acceleration. They deal with data processing by Origin. According to the analysis of data, the system reliability of tube automated packing machine is improved.Control part of tube automated packing machine is designed. Combined with the needs of users, choosing PLC control, designing fault handling unit and HMI are ok. Servo motor is controlled by fuzzy PID, based ladders were written by the way of STEP7. Precise control of the whole area is achieved for tube automated packing machine.In this paper, the tube manually packing is replaced with tube automated packing machine. Cost is saved, reduced packing strength, improved tube packing efficiency and economic efficiency. To some extent, it meets the needs of large-scale production and achieved practical value.
