The most fundamental prerequisite of economic development is the advanced transportation. Since Reform and Opening, the highway mileage has been increased year by year, so are the bridges, tunnels and so on. In China, the professional research in bridges started late, especially in the fields of bridge deck paving technologies. Moreover, the overload problem and the poor construction together have brought the bridge decks to damage earlier than they were supposed to. The frequent repairs of the bridge decks not only cause huge economic loss but also congest the traffic. Thus, it is necessary to pay highly attention to the design and construction of the bridge decks.Due to the unique features of some concrete grand bridges, some problems of the leveling course, such as protruding anchors and the differences in pavement plainness, will seriously affected the paving construction of asphalt concrete deck. According to on-site surveys and prophase investigation, referencing for three kinds of solutions have been put forward based on the pavement projects conducted at home and abroad:(1) To get rid of the damaged areas in the leveling course, to artificially chisel concrete surface, to clear up using water repellent, to specify the amplitude of the level elevation based on the bridge deck design, and finally to place the steel fiber concrete.(2) Reconditioning the leveling level of the concrete, then pouring a layer of concrete in order to set the highlight anchors inside for improving the flatness of the bridge, finally paving asphalt concrete pavement as required.(3) Chiseling partial of cement concrete leveling and flatting partial of asphalt concrete with AC-13 C to eliminate the effects of prominent anchors and flatness of asphalt paving and compaction, then designing the deck elevation adjustments after the construction of bunk bridge deck.The three kinds of programs can solve the issue that the existing problems of a super bridge effect on its deck pavement, while from the perspective of construction difficulty, project cost, performance and other aspects, the ultimate optimization is option 3, meanwhile control the quality of bridge deck installation in two aspects: installation material and construction site. The asphalt concrete leveling, alignment and elevation adjustment of bridge deck in program 3 can provide a reference to handle concrete bridges of similar measures for similar problems.
