The estrangement between people and information has been formed because of the rapid development of technology, the feedback instruction of the state code in the Internet product break away from our real life, such as 404,502, etc., people could not understand it clearly. Feedback mechanism is an important part of human-computer interaction, people will be restless because of losing the sense of control if they cannot accurately understand the product feedback information in the process of using the product, also the operational friendliness of product will be affected. Excellent feedback mechanisms have some self-evidence and revelatory, it expected to allow users to operate rely on instinct driven, get immersive experience and express the product's distinctive personality and emotional care in the use of the process.In this paper, the characteristics, value, general process when metaphor used as a method of creative design were analyzed started from the cognitive theory of metaphor and combined with three key factors of metaphor, these three elements are tenor, vehicle and similarity. The feasibility and necessity of introducing metaphor as an auxiliary means into the design process of Internet product feedback mechanism have been discussed by started from the purpose, significance and cognitive dilemma of Internet product feedback mechanisms and combined with the characteristics of the unconscious and automatic, directional, prominence and shielding, system and coherence of metaphorical cognition. The relationship between general process of design based on metaphor cognition and features, objectives and the five elements of behavior of interactive design were analyzed based on cognitive thinking characteristics of metaphor and the process. The Internet product feedback mechanism design method based on the metaphorical cognition was summarized by combined with concrete forms of the five factors of behavior in the Internet product feedback mechanism, the influence and restriction of each link in the design process, the connection between the design based on metaphorical cognition and the feedback mechanism of Internet products that was established. In order to improve the identification of function and introduction of operation about Internet product feedback mechanism, deepening emotional expression of feedback mechanism to help the product to achieve availability goals and user experience goals in interactive design.In the part of practice, the influence of five factors of behavior in interactive design which including people, action, tool or media, objects and scenes were analyzed through the Internet product feedback mechanism design method based on metaphorical cognition in the Internet product design project. The goal that feedback mechanism is clear and easy to understand, full of emotion were finally achieved, the personality characteristics for the product was increased, the product's image was enriched. The value and significance, feasibility and development prospects of the study were preliminary confirmed.
