With the vigorous development of the electric power industry, the power construction, especially the large-scale construction of the power grid, gradually meets the high standard requirements of people's life. With the rapid development of electric power construction, especially after a wide range of power shortage, the state gradually increases investment in the construction of power transmission project. Due to the characteristics of large investment and long construction period in power transmission project, the risk factors from various aspects are likely to happen. With the rapid development of the power grid construction in the world, the field of power grid is expanding in all countries, so potential risk factors will increase. Therefore, the comprehensive research on risk management of power transmission project can forecast the level of implementation of the project in a certain extent, coordinate the construction project in different periods to achieve risk identification as far as possible. It is of practical significance to improve the management level of the power transmission project, especially the research on project risk management to further reduce the investment risk of the project obtaining greater economic benefits.In this paper, we study the risks of power transmission project construction in the electric power industry combined with the power transmission project of 220 KV in XZ. We research mainly by using the method of brainstorming, Delphy, inspection method, scenario analysis method of risk identification. We divide the implementation of project construction into different stages, technical risk(construction technology risk, design change risk, technical parameters selection risk, operation risk), management risk(construction management risk, contract management risk, investment risk management, leadership and organization management risk), environmental risk(the risk of the social environment and natural environment), economic risk(default risk and financial risk) based on the risk identification. Then we use AHP to determine the weights of risk factors, conducting an overall evaluation of the power transmission project of 220 KV in XZ with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finally, we put forward measures on dealing with the risk, it provides a reference for the power transmission project of 220 KV in XZ to improve the risk management.
