With the development of ecological civilization construction,Beijing,the capital of our country has an outstanding consciousness in forest protection and construction.As an important carrier of the construction of ecological civilization,the core function of forest park is committed to promote environmental education and nature conservation.And the effective way to achieve this goal depends on environmental interpretation.Nowadays,however,the environmental interpretation of forest park in Beijing has not been formulated and exists a series of problems.By questionnaire research and spot investigation,this paper analysis the realistic problems and tourists' demands in environmental interpretation of forest park in Beijing.Based on the research status at home and abroad,the construction principles and skills of the environmental interpretation of forest park are put forward in the paper,for which the content including animal and plant resources,forest ecosystem,the function of forest as well as the media of environmental interpretation such as personnel interpretation,object interpretation and environment education activities are mainly discussed.According to the questionnaire research,there are numbers of problems existed in environmental interpretation in Baiwangshan forest park,and its science popularization,participation and systematization should be improved.However,due to various causes such as location,tourists express high expectation about improving its environmental interpretation system.Therefore,this paper take Baiwangshan forest park as an example and optimize its environmental interpretation system.Meanwhile,it is expected that the proposed optimization strategies could give some suggestions to the construction of environmental interpretation system in other forest parks in Beijing.
