Modern industry is booming rapidly to meet the growing material and cultural needs of people's live.However our living environments has been suffering from great harm in the past two hundred years since the industrial revolution.As an important part of Sustainable development which is becoming the main trend and goal of current economic,social and cultural development,Sustainable architecture emerged,grew,and became popular.With the concept of sustainable architecture in this manuscript,we systematically analyzed site planning technique,energy technique,ecological greening technique,water treatment technique and humanity environment in living communities.Moreover,we provide a strategy of sustainable architecture design to fit different demand of building in hot-summer and cold-winter zones.Finally,we took Pan Long Ecological Community as an example of residential community to study detailed projects analysis and model test.In our test,the sustainability in sustainable building technology,ecological and cultural factors was achieved through optimizing of passive and active technology,as well as beautifying the ecological and cultural environment.First of all,we discussed the research focus of sustainable architecture in different periods of development,which can be summarized into four stages:harmonious relationship of architecture and natural,energy conservation of building,integration of building technology,comprehensive consideration of building technology and culture.Through the theory and case study of sustainable architecture at home and abroad,we set up our research goal as influence and application of sustainable building theory in building design at the places of hot-summer and cold-winter zone,as well as practice instruction to the low cost and high efficiency of sustainable design strategy in this area.Next,we introduced the correlation and difference between energy saving building,ecology building,green building and sustainable architecture.Weexpound the basic theory of sustainable from three aspects: the natural view,the technical concept and the system view.Also we defined the range of study was the populated communities.Meanwhile,according to the features of the climate and geographical location in hot-summer and cold-winter area,combined with the survey on current situation of living,we analyzed the existing problems and the causes problems in residential communities at this area.To solve these problems,we analyzed and summarized the principles and practicable solutions of sustainable building technology applicable to this hot-summer and cold-winter area.In the end,we proposed appropriate technology of sustainable architecture at the medium level according to the research of Pan Long Ecological Community.Fluent and Ecotect software are used to evaluate the climate conditions,wind environment,luminous environment surrounding Pan Long Ecological Community.Based on these results and our resource-energy saving analysis,we proposed a feasible optimization in building design with great maturity in technology and considerable difficulties in practice.
