With the development of social economy and people’s living standard, thedemand on the living and working environment is increasingly higher, especially theindoor thermal environment, which directly affect people’s physical and mental health.Bengbu is located at the junction of cold areas and summer hot cold winter areas. Theurban residential buildings are designed in accordance with the requirements of hotsummer and cold winter area, most of them without considering the heat preservationin winter. While, compared with the cold areas, there is no central heating, so thewinter indoor thermal environment is extremely bad. With the improvement of livingstandards, people’s demand for indoor thermal environment is more and more high. Inorder to improve the indoor thermal environment in winter, residents generally adoptthe air conditioning, electric heating and other measures. But the thermal performanceof building envelope has been very poor, resulting in huge energy consumption andserious waste. So the research on indoor thermal environment in winter in Bengbu areais imperative. For the poor indoor thermal environment in winter in Bengbu, the author aware ofmany problems of the residential buildings by doing research and testing in theneiborhood near Huaihe square Bengbu area. Shape coefficient too large, poor thermalperformance of building envelope, balcony and staircases not closed, all these lead tothe low indoor temperature in winter, about9℃. At the same time, the heatingefficiency of air conditioning is low, but with high energy consumption. According to the poor indoor thermal environment and serious waste of energy, toimprove the indoor thermal environment in Bengbu urban residential building, andsolve these practical problems, the author put forwards the improvement measuresfrom the planning layout, single building, building envelope, heating room and so on.Using the software DeST-h to simulate the improvement measures, comparing thechanges on the after improvement indoor temperature with before, and testing theeffect of improvement measures. It shows that: through the improvement of thebuilding walls and windows, the indoor temperature can be increased by2.1℃inwinter; after the south balcony closed, the difference of mean temperature is1℃; Ifput the heat preservation layer in the wall between the air conditioning heating roomand non-heating, it can reduce the energy consumption with significant results.
