| The current China’s urban space growth has entered the stage of transformation development and urban planning paradigm also correspondingly transforms from investment-led growth to management growth. A well-established urban growth boundary as a urban spatial growth management policy tool, is playing an active role in soothing the confliction between the resource constrain and economic development demand, control urban sprawl and achieve smart growth. Domestic urban growth boundary delimitation mostly through overlaying the prohibit construction land, which result in the boundary is too wide. It is to promote the city’s extensive expansion mode, especially in resource-rich city, its ecological land has been eroded. Thus, after setting the urban rigid boundary, should make use of certain technical means to delimitation elastic growth boundary.The thesis tries to use the collaborative analysis perspective of urban space growth and ecological resources constraint and takes the typical landscape-type city An’qing that has abundant mountain and water resources but prominent contradictions between people and land as an example to discuss the delimitation methods of urban growth boundary under the restraint of ecological security. It aims to provide a reference for the urban ecological security and delimitation of urban growth boundaries.First of all, the thesis reviews and evaluates the research progress of urban growth boundary at home and abroad and delimits the concept of urban growth boundary. The urban growth boundary includes rigid boundary and elastic boundary. Secondly, based on the basis, the thesis use the collaborative analysis perspective of urban space growth and ecological resources constraint and builds the delimitation way of urban growth boundary under the restraint of ecological security pattern. Finally, based on the RS and GIS technology, the thesis takes An’qing as an example and delimits urban rigid boundary through making the evaluation on the suitability of urban land and identifying the key ecological land of maintaining urban ecological security; Then, based on the principles of landscape ecology, the thesis constructs high, middle and low ecological security patterns and considers them to be limiting factor layers of SLEUTH urban growth model, imitates the different trends of urban space growth and makes evaluation on multiple simulation plans in three aspects, urban expanding tendency, the maintenance of ecological security and the scale of the available land. So they can determine the optimum development direction and development model. At last, the thesis combines urban development direction and land suitability evaluation to delimit urban elastic growth boundary of urban development and eventually corrects the growth boundary according to urban spatial form.The main conclusions of the thesis:(1)the delimitation of urban growth boundary shall take ecological, economic and social factors into comprehensive consideration and it shall adopt the method of the combination of qualitative and quantitative;(2)The collaborative analysis perspective of urban space growth and ecological resources constraint is beneficial to solve the related problems in management area of urban space growth.(3)As the technical means of the "Multiple Plans Integration", the boundary of urban growth should be completed by multi departments, and should pay attention to the elastic control, thus ensuring the orderly and reasonable growth of urban construction land. |
