Research on Baoguo Temple's architecture space and decorative arts is deepening and improving Song Dynasty building theory in our country, and it makes a new contribution to the inheritance of Chinese traditional architectural art.Baoguo Temple, built in the Khan of the Eastern Han Dynasty, destroyed in Tang Huichang five years,reconstructed in the Guangming yuan (880 years). It is the oldest and best-preserved of Yangtze River in south, being one of the Northern Song Dynasty wooden structure building. The Baoguo Temple's on the buildings has a very high historical value, artistic value and scientific value, it is the typical examples of the Song State Building Standards.From the perspective of art design, on the basis of Baoguo Temple relics and relevant ancient literature research, the thesis is divided into six parts with the architectural space art and decorative art as the main clue.In the introduction, the thesis briefly describes the significance and purpose of the research on Baoguo Temple's construction, illustrating the necessity of research.
