| Machinery manufacturing industry is a well development, strictly divided, and a high degree of specialization of industry, its development level decides the country’s level of economic development and people’s living standard. The revitalization of the machinery manufacturing industry, not only in need of technical innovation, also need a large number of skilled talents with skill. Mechanical design and manufacturing specialty plays significant duty to cultivate the mechanical design and manufacturing talent. The post practice for the cultivation of students’ comprehensive skills and exercise, quality and effect of the post practice, plays a vital role in cultivating high-quality skilled talents who meet the requirement of the development of machinery manufacturing industry.In the process of the post practice in the mechanical design and manufacturing specialty in vocational colleges, there are so many problems. The author of this paper intends to investigate and study using the method of questionnaire survey, informal discussion, enterprise visit and literature refer, at the same time the author do all one can to make the materials and data reflect the real condition about the post practice and find the problems of the post practice of mechanical design and manufacturing specialty in vocational colleges. The author will find the facts effect the post practice in stage from colleges, enterprises and students and try to propose the method which can resolve the predicament in the post practice from the actual situation of three aspects(college, enterprises and students) and domestic and foreign advanced experience for post practice.
