The Tactile Design Of Indoor Public Space

With the rapid development of modern social economy and innovative technology,human’s lifestyle become more abundant,rather than a simple desire for the material.With the premise of meeting people’s demand for basic use of indoor public space,the experience and perception of people for indoor public space has changed: vision is no longer the only way to access information,and other sensory experience is becoming more and more important.Hence in indoor public space is blended into many design of sense experience such as sense of hearing,sense of touch,sense of smell.The directness of sense of touch could pass the truest feelings to human beings,therefore putting the tactile design into indoor public space,using unique material,different color and special modeling,to provide the people who experienced the physiological and psychological feeling,through the new way of experience,strengthen the sensory experience,thus,to create a modern indoor public space that accord with the demanding of users.This thesis analyzes from the angle of the sense of touch to the indoor public space design,takes the experience of human’s tactile sensation as a starting point.This thesis focuses on the design method of tactile sensation in indoor public space by reading historical literature,using the method of interdisciplinary comprehensive analysis,combining with the case of indoor public space design,tactile sensation design theory and the related domestic and foreign outstanding design,and after a thorough analysis and comparison.At first,this paper shows a brief introduction on the research status and intention and signification of this topic.Second,there is a specific analysis of the following three aspects: the relationship between tactile sensation and indoor public space;the demand of tactile sensation design from different kinds of people;therelationship between touch design and elements.This thesis also involved in the touch design requirements from different types of indoor public space through trade show space,office space,dining space,recreational space as representative.Analyzes the function,effect and influence of tactile sensation in indoor public spaces of those who experienced,points out the inherent relationship of tactile sensation and indoor public space.Through the analysis of the above problems and in combination with the current status of development of the society in our country,points out that the modern indoor public space existing in the design of the sense of touch in cultural,economic and technical constraints,and many other problems.Finally,a sum up the principles of touch in indoor public space design,and respectively from the tactile guidance and recognition,experiential,spatial relationships,and so on,provides specific design methods.In the end,in the practice of the touch sensation design,enrich the theory of touch interior public space design,increase people’s sense of touch sensory experience,creating a comfort,participatory,functionality,which integrates modern interior public space,so that people can better carry out activities in them.
