The development of social economy has led to the rapid progress of human civilization, but also brings the global environmental pollution and energy shortage. With the development of automatic technology such as wireless communication, LED and Beidou, It's very meaningful to develop a new type of lighting control technology which is highly automatic, energy-efficient, practical and reliable. A method of lighting control technology based on distributed LED lighting system is researched and designed in the thesis.A control system for LED fixture based on 3G communication, short distance wireless communication and Beidou position technology was designed in this thesis. Functions including remote control, remote test and adaptive PWM dimming were integrated in the system. Comprised monitoring center layer, hub layer and control terminal layer, the system adopts three layers architecture model structure. In this paper, aiming at the hub and control terminal, design of system hardware and software and the network protocol was introduced in detail as follows:1. The feasibility analysis and overall program of the distributed LED lighting control system were discussed. In different application, the technology of long distance communication and short distance communication has different advantages. Through the comparative analysis of the two technologies, the reason of using a concatenation of3 G public wireless remote communication and short distance wireless communication was described in this paper.2. A protocol for ad hoc network of short distance wireless communication was designed. With the comparative analysis of various types of network topology structure, the layer structure and network characteristics of ZigBee protocol stack and SimpliciTI protocol stackwere introduced. Concerned about the communication between hub and control terminal, the idea of ad hoc network design was demonstrated. A simple, stable and reliable protocol was designed.3. Hardware design of hub and control terminal of the distributed LED lighting system was described in the paper. The hardware architecture of hub and control terminal was discussed and designed in modular. The function of each hardware module was analyzed and the hardware circuit were designed.4. Software design of hub and control terminal of the distributed LED lighting system was elaborated in this paper. According to the task management mechanism, the function of software tasks was designed in modular to enhance the scalability and stability of system software. The implementation process of main function module of system software was elaborated in the paper.
