Research On Schedule Management Of SGSL Steel Processing And Distribution Center Project

The processing and distribution of steel as a new marketing service mode is first appeared in Europe and the United States and other developed countries in steel industry, for an important manifestation of the steel industry to transform from traditional suppliers to comprehensive service providers, it's an important means of new marketing mode of modern steel industry. It solves the contradiction between the terminal customer intensive, large-scale production and market of steel industry growing individuality demand. SG cold-rolled Corporation is the relocation of SG to adjust the construction quality cold-rolled steel production base of high-end positioning, the production home appliances and automobile plate. However, cold-rolled cannot meet the company requirements with the development of car users at present. Therefore, according to the SG company needs of customer development and car plate marketing characteristics, SG Corporation decided to construct SGSL in the Central China area with the SL group joint venture. To coordinate with the SL group to build the car production line of the project schedule, this steel processing and distribution center project will be carried out strictly according to the theory of modern project management.This thesis discusses the application of project management theory in the SGSL steel processing and distribution center construction project, analyzes the difficulties existing during the project implementation. Based on modern projects schedule management, a series depth profile analysis was carried out about SGSL project control measures. For further approaches were proposed to improve the management method of progress control to ensure each of the tasks be accomplished successfully, complete steel processing schedule, and therefore to produce high-quality sheet products that meeting customer requirements.It will be an important research direction that to apply project management theory and method in steel processing and distribution center use the in a long time. The project explored in this thesis will accumulate rich experience for the steel processing and distribution center construction to enforce innovation management in the future.
