With the rapid development of society and progress of science and technology, aviation industry has been booming, which puts forward higher requirements on aviation safety. Aviation motor, as an important part of aviation industry, plays a significant role in the development of aviation industry as well as the improvement of aviation technology. Therefore, the automatic monitoring is an essential part in aviation technology and an important procedure in testing the reliability and stability of aviation motor.In this paper, the author symmetrically describes control requirements and analyzes the function of PLC. On the condition of fully considering the cost, reliability, operability and other factors, the author proposes an oil cooling system for power test equipments made up of Industrial Personal Computer(IPC), Siemens PLC, touch screen, Variable-frequency Drive(VFD), sensor and motor to realize the automatic and intelligent motoring of oil source control system.By simulating the actual operating environment of aviation motor, the author makes an overall design of the control system, which is mainly composed of PLC control unit, local man-machine interface monitoring unit, remote IPC monitoring unit, data acquisition unit and execution unit. Besides, the emulated environment mainly includes an oil supply system in which the flow and oil inlet temperature can be easily adjusted, an independent oil return system, and an indirect heating system. By analysis of PLC control unit's working principle and use of PLC extension module which matches the signal demand to realize data acquisition, the paper focuses on the method and program design of PLC data acquisition as well as output control. Communication between PLC and VFD, PLC and supervisory computer can be achieved by using the MODBUS protocol based on RS-485 interface. Moreover, we can real-timely read the system data, control the system output and set the VFD parameters. The author also discussed in detail using visual studio software and Web OP Designer configuration software for remote IPC and controlling of the local Human-Machine Interface(HMI) design, and with Siemens S7-200 PLC serial communication interface and control program design, realize real-time communication between monitoring interface with PLC. PLC's logic applying and data processing capacity make it possible for the supervisory computer to real-timely monitor the operating state of peripheral equipments.System can online monitor and remote control acquisition of data, VFD of running parameters and the control output state, Can improve the reliability of the system, aviation motor testing efficiency and accuracy, reduce system wiring, improve the working efficiency of the staff.
