Construction of gas pipeline is an important part of urban infrastructures.With the development of the city, construction of gas facilities, which forms a massive complex urban gas pipeline network system on the ground and underground, is also being updated every day.The acccidents of urban gas pipeline network occur frequently, which has caused serious losses of casualties and property in the mean time. In order to combat the accident losses of urban gas pipeline network effectively, the research about the system of emergency rescue in urban gas pipeline network should be enhanced urgently.First, the thesis analyzes the gas characteristics, gas pipeline network structure and the characteristics of the gas pipeline accidents, including the factors, occurrence mechanism,development mechanism and the secondary accidents about the gas pipeline accidents.According to the emergency rescue organization structure and responsibilities, the emergency procedure of urban gas pipeline accidents is proposed in the thesis. The functional requirements as well as the overall structure and content of the database are designed.Through SketchUp which is a 3D modeling software, the 3D gas pipeline network model on ArcGIS platform is built, which solves the disadvantage of spatial level in two-dimensional pipeline network system. Then, by using the Interactive 2D&3D technology, it is programmed secondly that is based on Arcgis engine componet, and achieving the interaction between 2D and 3D, so that the advantages and disadvantages between the two-dimensional maps and three-dimensional scene are complemented, and the usability of the system improves in the mean time. In view of the application of the accident consequences model on the emergency rescue, the various types of urban gas accident model are researched detailedly and the mathematical model of leakage, diffusion, fire and explosion about gas accident are defined.Finally, according to the functional requirements of the system, the overall framework of urban gas pipeline network emergency response auxiliary rescue systemit is designed, andimplemented the function module of the accident analysis module, network rescue analysis module, emergency rescue command and decision-making modules is implemented, so that it can implement the function of fast and accurate response, enhance the emergency rescue ability of dealing with gas accident, and reduce the damage of the gas accident.
