Abstract/Summary:
Fiber chip seal technology is in the chip seal based on technical reform, the is specialized equipment, is the asphalt binding material and fiber together spreading, and then covered with gravel, finally after road roller molding pressure. The fiber chip seal has good waterproof, anti crack, anti slip, wear-resistant performance and advanced construction technology and the construction speed of the fast and convenient, has good prospects for the development and application.In now in highway asphalt pavement construction technology specification, and does not require the specific construction technique, only in the fiber chip seal material properties, mix proportion design, construction technology and quality management are part of the technical provisions. The fiber chip seal construction selected regions of the material, the mixture ratio is based on traditional experience method, construction technology and quality management is the similar regulation of replication. Therefore, has very important significance to study the application of fiber chip seal.In order to better study the fiber chipseal, we through different amount of emulsified asphalt and different fiber content were fiber chip seal structure depth experiment, wet round wear test, load of the rolling wheel rutting test deformation test and mechanical properties test, in order to obtain the range and trend of the changes of each index. After the results of the experimental analysis, obtained the following conclusions:fiber chip seal in the mixing ratio of the experiment, fiber chip seal abrasion value, adhesion sand value and the amount of emulsified asphalt and fiber diagram and not simply increasing decreasing, but the optimal dosage of numerical. The fiber chip seal anti deformation ability and the abrasion resistance capability of the optimum emulsified asphalt dosage for 1.7 kg per square metre, the adhesion sand value for the minimum amount of emulsified asphalt 1.9 kg per square meter fiber dosage 75 grams per square meter. Fiber amount is certain, with the increase of amount of emulsified asphalt, the tensile properties of the fiber chip seal also increases; on the contrary, the amount of emulsified asphalt when, along with the increase of the amount of fiber, the fiber chip seal wear consumption, skid resistance respectively have varying degrees of increase, but shear resistance will decline. By the laboratory data analysis results show that the fiber chip seal has good skid resistance performance.
