Hydro-mechatronics has been gradually applied in the mechanical industry maturely, both electrical system and hydraulic system are now faced with a high integration, the design of hydraulic manifold block is the main form of the hydraulic integration. The intelligent design of hydraulic manifold block has become a hotspot of the research in the universities, the hydraulic manifold design contains almost CAD/CAE/CAM/CAPP technology including the design of hydraulic principle drawing, shape interference check and layout design, channel check and layout design, schedule drawing, and fluid characteristics analysis.Most of the researches on hydraulic manifold block are intelligent algorithm mainly which involves research problem from single hole connection to multi holes connection. However the current hydraulic manifold block design system is short of relatively complete solution, from schematic diagram to schedule drawing, and the secondary development platform aimed at the hydraulic manifold block design is relatively single.The mathematical model of hydraulic manifold block is established according to structure of hydraulic manifold block. The surface layout and inner layout are analyzed and summarized. The transfer strategy and rules of heuristic information are ameliorated to improve the process efficiency according to analysis of the current ant colony cooperative evolution algorithm for the hydraulic manifold block and the feasibility is testified through the simulation. The adaptive value is improved before adjustment. Combining derived feature and ifeature, the feature libraries of flow path are constructed based on secondary development.Finally, based on analysis of typical elements of hydraulic manifold block design, the integrated solution is presented according to the secondary development for Autodesk and Inventor in visual studio 2010, and the hydraulic valve and components database are constructed with access. The combination between 2D design and 3D design of hydraulic manifold block is achieved whose availability is tested according to the example of stirring valve.
