Abstract/Summary:
Along with our country economy booming and the high-speed development of air transportation industry,metroplex phenomenon has been springing up. In metropolitan areas, intensive airport distribution,complex airspace structure,high traffic demand has serious impact on flights operations in the metroplex terminal area, resulting in large flight delays and economic losses.For this problem,this paper began with the summary and analysis of the related research achievement,gives the definition of metroplex terminal area, research the elements and time-space resources features of metroplex terminal area,refines the relativity of operation and the main problems, proposes the solution of operation problem with time-space management. On the basis of the research,the operation situation of the Pearl River Delta metroplex and the solution with coordination of four management methods are analysed. Next, the importance and necessity of sequencing is proposed and the existing sequencing methods of arrival and depature flights in the metroplex terminal area are summarized and compared. considering a variety of constraints, the model of coordinated sequencing of arrival and depatuer flights based on runway allocation is established,the appropriate genetic algorithm is designed and the simulation for the Pearl River Delta metroplex operation is carryed out. The results showed that the proposed approach is scientific to reduce flight delays and carry out flexible management of air and ground delays. To ensure the effective implementation of delay measures, the model of coordinated sequencing based on delay allocation is established and the heuristic algorithm is designed.The simulation showed that the proposed approach can assign segment delay and delay measures reasonably. Finally, metroplex decision support system has been designed, hich includes the timeline module, the traffic situation display module, the interface requirements and functions of the system are described in detail. The coordinated metroplex system strongly supports the implement of metroplex terminal area scheduling policy.
