Tripper generally used in bucket wheel stacker reclaimer, stacker, ship loader and other large mobile equipment of bulk material transporting. The main role is to cast the material to stockyard for stacking operations, it can also be achieved directly through, take the material through and two-way through the stacker reclaimer and other functions. Similar as other mining machinery, most of its products are designed for a specific project, to make a corresponding change in the actual needs of different users. And the corresponding products designed according to customer demand in a timely manner, will be able to stay ahead in the increasingly fierce market competition, it will bring great significance to the development of enterprises. Therefore, the digital design, analysis and optimization techniques is very necessary.This article will take the fixed tripper as the research object, and use the powerful modeling capabilities of 3D CAD mechanical design software named INVENTOR for parametric design, using secondary development of ANSYS APDL language to build parametric analysis and optimization models for Tripper, the use of secondary development of programming to solve the digital design of key problems. The main research work and achievements are reflected in the following aspects:1. Research digital design technology in the fixed tripper vehicle design process, take 3D CAD software parametric design technology as basement, using top-down modeling design methods to achieve fixed tripper fast design response.2. Research the parametric finite element analysis theory, take the secondary development of language APDL of the finite element analysis software ANSYS as basement, create a finite element method of process parameters, and do static analysis by establishing a finite element analysis model of tripper on parametric model.3. The size design optimization of the main design parameters for fixed tripper, does reduce the weight of the equipment. Depend on the project requirement, take the minimum equipment weight as goal function, meanwhile consider the maximum stress and the maximum displacement as constraints, and finally get a set of optimization solutions. Then analysis and validate the optimization results.4. By using C#.NET language to do secondary development to 3D CAD software, can achieve the parametric design of non-geometric information, and solve the parametric design process bottlenecks, then achieve a rapid migration of 3D data, also can accelerate the 3D Parametric design efficiency.The use of digital design platform, to do 3D parametric design and finite element parametric analysis for fixed tripper, is very useful for serial development and lightweight design, it can greatly reduce design development time, also reduce the cost and enhance the efficiency of the design and development.
