With the general trend of the global wind energy utilization, Chinese wind power industry is growing rapidly, and the market demand for wind turbine maintenance and repair equipments becomes increasingly strong. However, existing maintenance is only limited to the large crane lifting, that means whether the environmental benefits or the economic benefits are not ideal, and at the same time, problems as long construction period, complicated construction degree, low safety level, even no guaranteed, are always there. Therefore, the development of high safety factor, convenient construction and adaptability of new maintenance equipment is necessary for the large wind turbines maintenance.This paper put the studies on maintenance and lifting equipment for wind nacelle parts as the main task, based on the existing fan maintenance equipment and jib crane, took the digital prototyping design technology as the main means, to design the maintenance and lifting platform. Firstly, according to the digital design of modern design and technology roadmap, studied and researched digital prototype design process, then determined the digital prototype design process of the maintenance and lifting platform:platform design concepts and solutions, three-dimensional solid model, digital simulation and emulation, checking performance; secondly, from the perspective of working principle two design schemes were proposed, the towed maintenance and lifting platform and self-climbing maintenance and lifting platform, and compared two options for the overall structure and properties to determine the towed one be the design scheme of wind turbine maintenance and lifting equipment; thirdly, based on the existing wind turbine maintenance crane technology, combined with the structural features of wind turbine nacelle and tower, proposed the basic design concept of maintenance and lifting platform, determined the overall structure and working principle, and established 3D-solid model and made structure analysis of wind turbine maintenance and lifting platform, completed digital prototype design process; through finite element analysis software, static analysis, modal dynamic analysis and transient dynamic analysis were done to verify the stiffness and strength of the platform to meet the design requirements, completed digital prototype simulation analysis process; finally, to further determine the security of wind turbine maintenance and lifting platform when it working on the top of tower, this paper established the 3D-solid model and digital model of a wind turbine tower, and made statics and dynamics performance analysis, completed the study on adaptability of the tower under the action of maintenance and lifting platform.This paper completed the design of digital prototype of the wind turbine maintenance and lifting platform, and carried out the adaptability of the tower based on the action of the platform, the study not only laid the foundation for the physical prototyping of maintenance and lifting equipment, but also promote the industrialization process of the maintenance and lifting platform.
