The unique geographical environment and climate characteristics of the Tibetan Plateau form a unique Tibetan traditional culture.National traditional culture is the overall representation of the nation's ideology culture,ideology and other factors,reflecting the characteristics and style of the nation.Traditional culture is closely related to the ecological environment in ethnic areas,it not only affects people's lifestyle and economic behavior,but also directly affects the development and improvement of ecological environment in ethnic areas.Factors such as high altitude,low temperature,and thin air make the originally weak natural ecosystem more sensitive and fragile,the Tibetan people who have lived on the plateau for generations have created a model of harmonious development of man and nature and humans and society in the harsh natural environment,forming an ecological culture that suits the environment of the plateau.Located on the eastern edge of Tibetan areas,the Amdo Tibetan area has unique ecological resources that form a natural ecological barrier in the eastern part of the plateau,it plays an important role in regulating the environment in the area and even affects the ecological interests of the country and the world.This feature determines that the development of the resources in Tibetan areas must be at a higher level,based on the current nature,humanities,and economy actual factors,the environmental issues in Tibetan areas must be re-positioned.In this paper,Niqian Village in Diebu County is taken as an example to analyze the relationship between human history and natural environment,human activities and natural ecology in the Niqian area,and expounds the ecological concepts such as ‘Animism' and ‘Harmony between man and nature' in Tibetan traditional culture.Through the combing of the main contents of traditional culture in Tibetan areas,the paper points out the function and role of traditional culture in the development of Tibetan society.Starting from ecological practices and environmental protection measures such as the practice of life protection and release,it reveals an important role of traditional culture in Tibetan ecological protection,it also proposes to inherit and carry forward the positive factors in favor of environmental protection in the traditional culture of Tibetans,do a good job in modern value conversion,raise citizens' awareness of environmental protection,and work hard to build a harmonious and beautiful new China.
