Research On The Ecological Civilization In The Traditional Chinese Culture And Its Contemporary Value

Nowadays, human is facing the global crisis of ecology. Matters such as climate warming and soil erosion have occurred because of the overdevelopment of economy, science and technology of humans. It is undeniable that industrial civilization has made a great contribution to human society, but by pursuing the developing speed blindly and neglecting the deteriorated environment it has caused, the result is that human will suffer the consequences. To solve the current situation, a green and low carbon ecological civilization should be advocated, thus requiring us consider and tap the ecological intelligence from the traditional Chinese culture, which is rich and extensive and has a long history. Combining the ecological intelligence contained in the traditional Chinese culture with the contemporary ecological civilization construction, the goal is to realize the harmonious unity of human and nature.The thought of the ecological civilization in the traditional Chinese culture is an important treasure to promote contemporary ecological civilization construction, playing an active role in protecting environment and keeping ecology in balance.
