Regeneration Fashion Design:A Brief Discussion Of Methods And Design Practice

Fashion design comes from human pursuit of beauty and is of great significance in life.However,the problem of pollution caused by the low utilization rate of resources and garments with regenerative value produced during the process of garment production is not optimistic.This thesis explores and practices the implementation methods of regenerative fashion design.Firstly,this paper starts from the concept of regenerative fashion design,expounds the research background,significance,connotation,principle,origin and development of regenerative fashion design.After clarifying the environmental pollution and resource consumption problems in the entire garment production cycle,this paper puts forward The concept of regenerative fashion design is carried out throughout the garment production cycle.And the method of regenerative fashion design—zero-waste cutting,reconstruction and upcycling is introduced.Secondly,classify and organize the important designers and brands that have emerged in the history of regenerative fashion design,focus on the design methods,and summarize the diversified process applications in the regenerative fashion design through the analysis of the design techniques of various brands and designers.These design techniques provide design ideas and techniques for reference.Finally,combined with the prominent design method in the regenerative fashion design,the design idea is clarified,and the methods of upgrading,reconstruction and restructuring are applied to the practical design.Respecting the principle of regenerative fashion design,using recycled textiles for re-deign,through a variety of techniques to enhance the artistic expression of clothing as far as possible,and finally produced a series of regenerative fashion design clothing.
