| China is the world’s largest consumer and producer of clothing,among which the total production of jeans ranks first in the world.Deniming industry,as one of the traditional pillar industries in China,has greatly promoted the development of the national economy.However,the sustainable development ability of the textile industry is relatively not stable,especially after the global COVID-19 in 2020.The whole textile industry facing a serious lack of market demand,product inventory rising situation.Both the 14th Five-Year Plan for National economic and social development and the outline of the 2035 Vision set out the direction and plan for the coordinated governance of“carbon peak”,“carbon neutrality”and“pollution and carbon reduction”.Denim-clothing industry is one of the industries with high consumption,heavy pollution,high water consumption and high emission.The efficient re-design and re-processing of denim-clothing is an important means to reduce environmental pollution and solve the shortage of resource supply and demand,and is also a powerful measure to promote the goal of“carbon peak”and“carbon neutrality”.It is also an effective way to construct ecological civilization and realize sustainable development of our country’s economy,environment and clothing industry.From the perspective of interdisciplinary disciplines such as textile material science,art and design science,this paper puts forward“re-design”as an important means to achieve sustainable development around the mechanism of“re-design”of spend denim clothing and the existing cases,clarifies the re-design concept,re-design principle and presentation effect,and explores the re-design path applicable to the localization of spend denim clothing.Firstly,the basic theories of sustainable development are crawled by combining various forms of literature,and definition connotation of sustainable development concept.The related concepts of“spend”denim clothing,“sustainable development”and“re-design”are defined for the research object in this study,and the main research content and research methods are clarified.Secondly,sorting out the sources of spend denim clothing,the inventory discards caused by the mass production of denim clothing enterprises and oversupply,and the spend and idle discards caused by the external image needs and internal emotional needs of consumers.And put forward thinking on solving the problems of pollution,carbon emission and inventory disposal brought about by the development of denim clothing industry.Clarify redesign ideas and levels,that is,“rethinking”to think the environment and prolong product service life,“replanning”led by consumers and the market,and“reconstruction”of old product structure,technology,and modeling.Aiming at the current situation of discarded denim clothing,put forward the scientific and reasonable redesign idea and redesign strategy.Thirdly,through the experiment of functional redesign of textile material science,the re-design of spend denim clothing can be realized by“rethinking”the service life of clothing.By simulating the family roller washing experiment on physical level,to give the scientific washing times of denim clothing of different materials.And by means of plasma technology grafting modifier for denim fabric antibacterial finishing,using electron microscope(SEM),X-ray energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),Fourier infrared spectrum(FTIR),Phabr Ometer magic weapon instrument and other testing instruments,optimized and arranged for denim clothing functional antibacterial finishing design.When the plasma sputtering gas is Ar,the sputtering flow is 200 m L/min-1,the power is 300 W,and the treatment time is 5 min,the contact Angle of the denim fabric can reach more than 130°,and it has good hydrophobic performance.Under the conditions of plasma sputtering gas Ar/O2 mixture,sputtering flow ratio of 50:50,power of 500 W and treatment time of 5 min,the antibacterial rate of denim fabric against Staphylococcus aureus with concentration of 1.50×106 CFU within 30 min is 92.8%.The antibacterial rate of E.coli with concentration of 3.76×106 CFU was 94.87%,and it did not affect its permeability and mechanical properties,showing good antibacterial properties.By“rethinking”the way of prolonging the physical life and functional life of the product,the waste denim clothing is redesigned,and the combination of art and workmanship gives the continuation of the functional value of denim clothing.Fourthly,based on the consumer’s emotional demand and market application research,the redesign mode of abandoned denim clothing is constructed.Through the questionnaire investigation of quantitative analysis.The SPSS software Amos was used to verify the relationship among the redesign denim clothing product texture elements,consumer product attitude and purchase intention.Through statistical methods such as semantic difference method and factor analysis,the qualitative elements of redesigned products are quantified and classified,and concluded that the demand of material attribute is higher than emotional attribute,the function is the important factor in the re-design of denim clothing,so that to provide a scientific quantitative design method for the re-design of spend denim clothing.The repositioning of the waste product“replanning”re-design,forming a consumer preference and market demand-oriented design mode.Fifthly,based on the concept of sustainable development and relying on design,the structure,material,technology,shape and other aspects of the old products are upgraded and redesigned,and the“re-improved”re-design.Through the artistic innovation of structural upgrading and reconstruction,the combination of ecological and environmental protection new materials,and the re-design method of the derivative design of zero-waste cultural and creative products,the fashion redesign innovation of spend denim clothing with the background of culture,aesthetics,technology,humanities and technology is formed,forming a closed-loop redesign path that integrates practicality and sustainability.In this paper,based the theoretical research results of environmental science,ecology,art,design,statistics,and textile materials,through theoretical research,model calculation,data analysis,chemical experiment and design practice,the three levels of redesign are discussed.The research on the redesign of spend denim clothing provides a new perspective of the redesign research.The re-design of spend denim clothing with technology-enabled design,inclusiveness and value creation,and humanistic display of courage can maximize the use of resources and the zero-waste,recyclable and sustainable development of products with high added value.Through the re-design research of spend denim clothing,the cultural essence and charm of sustainable development can be better conveyed,and the high-quality development of technology,fashion and green of China’s textile industry can be helped. |
