Han’s Laser Technology Co.,Ltd is one of the world’s major laser equipment manufacturers.Precision Welding Division belongs to the key department of the Han’s Laser and has made great contributions to company’s steady development.However,as with the rapid development on international manufacture technologies & management level and increasingly number of competitive companies appearing in the industry,the current management system in Han’s Laser cannot catch up with the industrial development,it is urgently needed to apply on new thoughts,methods and skills in the company,adjusting its management so as to ensure company’s steady development in this competitive environment.I have been working on the administrative position in Precision Welding Division of Han’s Laser during my MBA period due to the job’s particularity,and I am familiar with the production capacity,technical strength and R&D capability very well by researching on the workshops.The research result shows that our company is the typical state-owned enterprises management mode,having a small group of cooperating clients and products category.According to the production performances in recent years,the production capacity cannot meet the increasing needs from our customers;there are obvious weaknesses in the management.Toyota Production System(TPS)is recognized as themost popular manufacturing management mode by the international manufacturing industry,foreign researchers summarized the ideas,thoughts and technology system as lean production.There are abundant studies on TPS throughout the world;many enterprises which promote and practice TPS have gained considerable economic benefits and fruitful results.The most important idea in Toyota management is to establish quality culture in enterprises.I have made an improvement scheme for TPS,combining with the practical situation,putting the company’s workshop layout and problems appearing during production management process as the major research and resolving objects,coming up with the relevant improve and implement methods.In consequence,we can know the existing problems in workshop and the relevant implementation,ensuring the major problem is lack of a comprehensive production system.Therefore,it is impending issue to adjust the production mode and create a comprehensive production system in workshops.The detailed actions are: concentrating on completing production equipments,adjusting on-site operation and logistics,reducing work pressures on operations and roundly carrying out the TPS in the workshop of Precision Welding Division of Han’s Laser for the comprehensive improvement.the adjustment method for production site layout can be settled down based on the analysis.The implementation process in Precision Welding Division of Han’s Laser will mainly focus on three problems--ideological change on employees,improvement on equipments layout and improvement on welding machine assembly workshop.After carrying out the adjustments in workshop of Precision Welding Division,big changes are achieved on staff’s working pressure and working contents,cost,capacity,equipment operating efficiency as well as production efficiency.Moreover,after conducting the generalimprovement scheme,big differences are achieved no matter on working distances,time or the cost controls,which are powerful proves for the plan.
