At present,the economy of our country is at the multiple stage of shifting of growth rate,labor pains of structural adjustment and digestion of earlier proving policy.The hazardous chemicals industry is also affected by this period,thus demonstrating the relevant characteristics of this phas e.With the slowdown of econom ic growth,the adjustment of econom ic structure and the negative impacts of the early stage of policy,capital,technology and personnel of pr oduction safety decline accordingly,and supervision management level can not k eep up with th e pace of econom ic and society development.As a resu lt,specially major production safety accid ents occasionally occur in Hazardous Chemicals.Major production safety accidents and big production safety accidents happen re peatedly.Large population,big industrial scale and much m ineral resources of He nan province have m any advantages for economic growth but also many disadvantages in production safety.In recent years,with further attentio n of provincial party committee and provincial government,the production sa fety situation is basical ly stable,accidents and casualties are gradually dec lining.But there are still some serious problem s in Hazardous Chemicals.Henan,as an important province of our country,which bears the "rise of the Central Plains" and a series of im portant political tasks,has an absolutely c lear leading position in industrial s cale and d iversity of Henan prov ince and m ore distinct representative significance in producti on safety.A study for production safety situation and supervision system status which is on the base of In-depth analysis of existing problems and provide scientific and feasible way to improve present serious situation has an active effect on improving Henan production safety situation.
