In order to change the pattern of adhesive on the market,the development and research of green environmental protection adhesive is imminent.Bone glue,a kind of natural water-soluble protein,has the advantages of high bonding strength,low price,non-toxic,non-pollution,etc.But bone glue has the disadvantages of a high freezing point,poor water resistance and poor toughness,etc.It brings great inconvenience to users and restricts the development and application.In order to overcome these shortcomings,this study adopts the method of adding anti-coagulant and metal ion to modified traditional bone glue.The main research content and result are as follows.In this study,we selected ammonium thiocyanate as anti coagulant,methanol as antifreeze to reduce freezing point,in order to keep the liquid at room temperature.And selected aluminium chloride as complexing agent,Al3+ has coordinated with amino and carboxyl to improve the water resistance and enhance the bonding strength.The influences of mass ratios of water to bone glue,ammonium thiocyanate contents,volume of methanol,aluminum chloride contents on the viscosity and freezing point have been researched,the conditions of preparation modified bone glue were obtained by single factor-experiment.The conditions are shown as follows: the bone glue was 25.0 g,the distilled water was 30.0 m L,ammonium thiocyanate content was 9.0 g,volume of methanol was 3.2 g,aluminum chloride content was 0.8 g.The modified bone glue had the freezing point at-2 ?,viscosity at 8.52 Pa·s,contact angle increased from 59.88° to128.31°,outstanding water resistance,and good thermal stability.According to the single factor-experiment,study on influence of ammonium thiocyanate contents,volume of methanol,aluminumchloride contents on the viscosity and freezing point by Design-Expert?V8.0.6.1?.And the optimal conditions of preparing modified bone glue were explored.The optimal conditions are shown as follows: the bone glue was 25.0 g,the distilled water was 30.0 m L,ammonium thiocyanate content was 9.49 g,volume of methanol was 3.68 g,aluminum chloride content was 0.76 g.The modified bone glue had the freezing point at-3 ?,viscosity at 8.92 Pa·s,it was better than single factor-experiment.Infrared spectrum analysis showed that Al3+entered bone glue,formed the network structure by coordination reaction.ESEM analysis showed that the modified bone glue film surface was smooth without holes and cracks,contact angle increased from 59.88° to 116.47°,which showed that the water resistance improved significantly.TGA analysis showed that the modification had little effect on the thermal stability of bone glue.The properties of the modified bone glue had a big great improvements.In order to overcome the disadvantages of high brittleness,according to the optimal conditions,PVA can improve the flexibility of the bone glue film by adding into the modification process.The effects of contents of PVA on viscosity,freezing point,mechanical properties and water resistance of modified bone glue films were studied.The optimal conditions are shown as follows: the bone glue was 25.0 g,the distilled water was 30.0 m L,ammonium thiocyanate content was 9.49 g,volume of methanol was 3.68 g,aluminum chloride content was 0.76 g,PVA was 0.3 g,a type of bone glue adhesive which was low freezing point and high viscosity was prepared.TGA,ESEM and so on analysis showed that the PVA had little effect on the thermal stability and the water resistance of bone glue.XRD and FT-IR analysis showed that the interaction between PVA and aluminum ion and bone glue.The tensile strength of the bone glue films increased with PVA,while the elongation at break decreases.PVA can improve the bone glue film flexibility.After the modified method,a type of bone glue adhesive which was low freezing point,high viscosity,well water resistance and wellflexibility was prepared,and provided new methods for bone glue modification.
