| Since the reform and opening-up,China’s economy has achieved many remarkable achievements,industrialization and urbanization level increases significantly,perennial maintain high-speed economic growth,social development effect is remarkable.However,hidden under the surface of rapid economic growth,resource depletion and excessive environmental pollution phenomenon,Economic and ecological relations between more and more difficult to reconcile.The central region as an important major grain producing areas of our country,in China’s regional development has important strategic position,the speed of economic growth in recent years than the national average,steadily push forward the construction.But the region also face resource constraints and ecological space squeezed,environment pollution in the test.In this paper,in view of the central region economic efficiency and environment efficiency study,Through the analysis of the central region’s economic efficiency,environmental efficiency and total factor productivity overall status,Within the region and compared with the eastern region analysis,find out the regional economic difference of efficiency,then the economic efficiency and the environment in central China to explore the influence factors of total factor productivity,and comparing eastern environment influence factors of total factor productivity,intention to promote sustainable economic development in central China,in eastern developed regions such as catch up to provide the reference.First of all,based on data envelopment model method,using the central region in 2003-2014 panel data,the central district urban efficiency,environmental efficiency and calculates the total factor productivity of the environment.The study found that in the sample period,economic efficiency in the central region before 2008 is on the rise,in 2008,after falling more obvious,the overall economic efficiency behind the eastern region.Most cities in central China environmental efficiency is lower than economic efficiency,but also lower than the eastern part of the environmental efficiency.Central region environment total factor productivity fluctuated substantially rising trend,technology progress contribution rate to its maximum,total factor productivity is slightly higher than the eastern region in central environment.Secondly,the factors influencing the economic efficiency and the total factor productivity of the central region were studied by using the panel econometric method.,found the marketization level,there is no significant impact on the economic efficiency in the central region,the central region environment total factor productivity can produce significant role in promoting,R&d spending increased,the accumulation of human capital,the increase of the proportion of the tertiary industry,the improvement of informatization and the degree of opening to the outside world to the central regions economic efficiency and the increase of total factor productivity has a positive effect.East the increase of the proportion of secondary industry did not produce environmental total factor productivity,may be due to the region’s industrial drainage equipment is advanced,environmental protection consciousness is stronger,less pollution to the environment.R&d investment,human capital,informationization level,degree of marketization and opening to the outside world can promote the eastern region environment total factor productivity growth.The results of empirical study showed that,although central region in the overall economic efficiency behind the eastern region,but total factor production green than in the eastern central region environment,presents a strong momentum of green pursued,the theory of advantage of backwardness,countries put forward the strategy of "central rise" and the eastern region in the throes of economic transformation to catch up with the eastern region in central China to provide the corresponding basis.Finally combining with the characteristics of economic development in central China and the country’s relevant supporting policies,put forward some policy Suggestions. |
