A Study On The Tail Decorations Of Minorities In Yunnan Province

Tail decoration is a symbolic costume of ethnic minorities in Yunnan province since ancient times. It embodies the profound cultural connotation and national spirit of ethnic minorities in Yunnan. It is of great significance to preserve the traditional characteristics of national costumes and to inherit national costume culture. At the same time, it also provides reference for the design of modern national style.In this paper, the Yi nationality, Hani nationality and Lisu nationality in Yunnan province are studied, and a lot of literatures and surveying and analyzing objects are used to study the modeling of these three nationalities. The origin, cultural connotation and expressive way of the tail decoration in Yunnan province are summarized and analyzed, and the characteristics and cultural connotations of the tail decoration of Yi nationality, Hani nationality and Lisu nationality in Yunnan province are analyzed and summarized. Through the research and measurement of the tail decoration, the modeling features and wearing styles of Yi nationality, Hani nationality and Lisu nationality people in Yunnan region are analyzed and compared.Based on the study of Yi nationality, Hani nationality and Lisu nationality tribe tail decoration in Yunnan province, it is found that the tail decoration in Yunnan province are mainly in the form of cloth-style tail decoration.
