She Nationality with a long history, one of southern ethnic minorities, is famous for its "on farming" way of life, and it is mainly distributed in southeastern mountains of China. Because of its special geography, tea becomes one of the traditional economic crops mountains widely grown members. She tea is famous for its rich varieties, best quality, especially the Huiming Tea with more popular visibility which comes from Jingning, Zhejiang. Mindong area of Fujian Province is the biggest residence of She nationality, and is also one of the most important tea production areas in Fujian. During the late Qing Dynasty and the period of the Republic of China, the production of tea and the trade in Mindong region began to flourish, and Houdun also became an important distributing center of tea in Mindong region, following a series of famous She tea brands, such as "LeiZhenChang" and so on in Fujian. Due to the historical reasons, however, the brand was a flash in the pan, and exited the market quickly. Then, She nationality of Mindong tea also had been unable to form a high popular regional brand, which largely restricted the development of the contemporary Mindong tea industry member. From the perspective of brand packaging design, this research studied the historical development of Mindong tea. By surveying the culture of She nationality and the technology of tea process and studying the packaging design of Huiming tea, we use the development and packaging design of She tea "LeiZhenChang" in Ningde Houdun as example to reshape the brand of She tea. We mix cultural integration, product innovation with She characteristic culture together, which keeps minority traditional culture style and gives the old brand fashionable breath. Our purpose is carrying forward the national culture of She tea with special culture products design and the development of regional economy.
