Into the industrial era, China is facing increasingly serious ecological problems. 30 years of reform and opening make we feel the social changes brought about by industrialization, but meanwhile, reform and opening has brought us tremendous development, while also making China’s ecological environment has been a certain degree of damage. At present, ecological environment is not only the scientific issues, it is an important political issue. In China, the progressive realization of the modernization is the biggest political in the current and future. The ecological and environmental problems in the perspective of political science research has great significance for man and nature live in harmony.For now, the ecological environment in Northwest China is particularly prominent. To handle the harmonious coexistence of modernization with a good ecological environment, promote the ecological political theory and the collaborative governance theory in our local integration and development, This paper from the political perspective, analyzed the political practice of ecological environment governance between China and western, from entirety to point, combed the ecological environment of the northwest in the history and the related national environment policy. At the same time, this paper research on the current situation and the role of the main body in the ecological environment governance in the northwest of China, then analyzed the problems and reasons of multi-subject governance ecological environment in the northwest on the basis of clarifying the changes of the northwest ecological environment. This paper introduced the concept of collaborative governance on the basis of multi-subject research on governance, clarified the relationship between competition and cooperation of the governance body, proposed management path of ecological environment collaborative governance, that is to say, Efforts to improve people’s ecological consciousness of rights and interests in the northwest region, and based on system innovation, building a government led collaborative governance system of ecological environment, in order to promote the construction of ecological security barrier in Northwest China.
