Research On The Haze Governance Issue In The View Of Ecological Politics

The chronic hazy weather occurred in recent years poses not merely threat on people's health,life security and normal life,but also undermines the image of China in international arena,impairing the sustainable economic and social development of China.Given that,how to prevent and treat haze effectively has already been a hot topic arousing extensive attention.Haze is one of the salient demonstrations of China's severe air pollution,and to tackle with haze and smog shall also be deemed as top priority in air pollution treatment.It calls for concerted efforts,and the country should take it as a political issue and thus carry out comprehensive methods.Proceeding from the actual demand of China's haze treatment,this article looks into and studies the current situation,achievements and also problems involved in the treatment,and explores measures as well as recommendations from ecological politics perspective based on successful experience of oversea countries.Methods as literature research,comparative study and integrating theory with practice are applied in this article.There are totally five chapters,the first chapter is a general introduction,the purpose as well as significance of the study,research status home and broad and also basic concepts and methods are presented;Then the second chapter expounds on the origin,meaning and evolution of the notion of ecological politics,proposes the fundamental ideas of it,briefs on its major implication and thus moves to the haze issue and its fallout in the end;The current condition,problems and reasons behind of China's smog treatment are analyzed in the third chapter,and four factors are raised in terms of the treatment dilemma;The fourth part focuses on international experience to this end.By summarizing the lessons learned in the haze treatment of countries and regions as Japan,America,EU and Brazil,relative conclusion is made;The final chapter is composed of suggestions for haze treatment from ecological politics perspectives,namely as enhancing awareness,improving regulation restrictions,strengthening environmental friendly technology support and cultivating ecological behaviors',and thus to integrate treatment based on ecological politics with all sections of economic,polictical,cultural and social constructions,and also to put forward research ideas in a ecological politics view.
