| Yunnan province is located in the southwest of China(21°8ˊ20?-29°15ˊ6? N;97°31ˊ37?-106°11ˊ44? E)with low-latitude mountain monsoon climate.197 diatom samples were collected from rivers,lakers and swamps in Yunnan Province in July 2014.Data of water temperature,pH,salinity,GPS and altitude were gotten.Samples were conserved in 5% formalin and 394 permanent slides were made with Naphrax mountant after acid treatment.Slides were examined with ZEISS Imager.A2 and SEM was performed using Hitachi-4800.41 species assigned to seven genus in Family Cymbellaceae were identified,inculding three Amphora Ehrenberg species;16 Cymbella Agardh species with one undermined species;four Cymbopleura Krammer species;one Delicata Krammer species;11 Encyonema Kützing species,containing five new records,Encyonema alpiniforme Krammer,Encyonema appalachianum Potapova,Encyonema auerswaldii Rabenhorst,Encyonema brevicapitatum Krammer,Encyonema spitabergense Krammer;four Placoneis Mereschkowsky species;one Seminavis Krammer species.four gunus with 42 species of Family Gomphonemaceae were identified,inculding 38 Gomphonema Ehrenberg species with three new species,nine undermined species and three new records in China,Gomphonema dharwarensis Gandhi,Gomphonema hasta Metzeltin & Lange-Bertalot,Gomphonema pseudosphaerophorum Ehrenberg;one Gomphosphenia Lange-Bertalot species;two Gomphoneis Cleve species;one Rhoicosphenia Grunow species.Details of morphological characteristics and comparisons among those species were showed based on LM and SEM observation. |
