Taxonomy Of Spider Family Psechridae From Yunnan Province(Arachnida: Araneae)

The present paper deals with a comprehensive taxonomic research ofPsechridae from Yunnan Province, China. The research situation, morphologicalcharacters and biology of Psechridae is introduced in details. Diagnosis, morphologicalcharacters and intravariation of each species from Yunnan are described, together withthe key of genera and species belonging to genus Psechrus. Nineteen species belongingto2genera,2species groups of Psechridae are described in total, among them,11arenew to science. The new species and new records are listed as follows: Psechrus fugongsp. nov. and P. maculatus sp. nov.; P. ailao sp. nov., P. changmin sp. nov., P. conicus sp.nov., P. discoideus sp. nov., P. luoping sp. nov., P. mingsheng sp. nov., P. peltatus sp. nov.,P. saccatus sp. nov., P. spatulatus sp. nov.; and2species are recorded the first time toYunnan: P. senoculatus Yin, Wang&Zhang,1985and P. sinensis Berland&Berland,1914. Now the recorded species number of Psechridae inYunnan are increased more than2times, and the distribution of some known species are vastly extended.Fifty eight plates, with314photos of diagnosis characters and intravariation areprovided in this paper, among them45plates with245photos are color photographs and13plates with69photos are genital illustrations of new species and those known specieswith genital illustrations inaccurate. In addition, the distribution map of each species areprovided.
